Quick answers to common questions about cleanups, XP, badges, and more.

  • +20 XP for every cleanup submission
  • +2 XP per kg of waste collected
  • +5 XP for pinning your cleanup location on the map
  • +50 XP when friends join and complete their first cleanup

Badges are achievements you unlock by completing specific tasks like making your first cleanup, collecting 10kg of waste, or inviting friends. Check your dashboard to see your earned badges!

The tier system rewards your long-term commitment. There are 10 levels—from 🌱 Shore Sprout (0 XP) to 🔱 Poseidon's Pick (50,000 XP). Each tier has an icon, name, and description. You level up automatically as your XP grows after each approved cleanup. Watch the progress bar on your dashboard to see how close you are to the next tier!

Quest Journeys are 4 onboarding chains — First Cleanup, Explorer, Community, and Tier Climber — that walk you through the platform step by step. Each step has a small XP reward, and finishing all steps in a chain earns you a chain-completion badge. Visit the Your Journey page to see your progress.

Weekly Challenges are 3 short tasks that refresh every Monday. They might ask you to log 1 cleanup, collect 5kg, hit a new location, or join an event. Completing a challenge awards XP (and sometimes a badge). They reset weekly, so there's always something new to aim for. Check the Challenges page.

Log at least one approved cleanup each week to keep your streak alive. Reach 3 weeks in a row for a streak badge, 7 weeks for a better one, and 30 weeks for the legendary streak badge. Miss a week and the counter resets. The streak is shown on your dashboard and profile.

Every time you level up to a new tier (Wave Walker, Coral Guardian, Reef Ranger, Deep Blue), the dashboard shows a confetti celebration with your new tier card. After the animation, you can share a branded card with your tier to social media. Tier-ups happen automatically as your XP grows.

Go to your Dashboard and click "New Cleanup". Fill in the location (use the map), upload evidence photos, and list the waste items collected with their weights.

Open the Friends page to find users by membership number or scan their QR code with your phone camera. Once you send a friend request, they must accept it before you appear on each other's friend list. Friends earn bonus XP when they complete their first cleanup together.

Announcements appear on your dashboard from admins. They may include event announcements, platform updates, or important notices. Announcements expire automatically after their set duration.

Guilds are teams with friends. 20% of your XP goes to your guild. Check the Guild page.

Guilds are small, location-based groups (your neighborhood, a school club). You join a guild to find local cleanup buddies, see local events, and chat. Organizations are larger entities — companies, NGOs, schools — that compete on a team scoreboard. Most users join one guild AND one organization.

Parties can only be created during community events. Invite friends for bonus XP! Parties last for 1 hour.

Visit the Rewards page to browse available rewards. Each reward costs a set amount of XP. When you claim a reward, the XP is deducted from your balance instantly. Digital rewards are added automatically; physical rewards are processed by an admin.

Yes. Your public profile is the page anyone sees when they tap your avatar or click your name. It shows your display name, tier, badges, total cleanups, and total weight collected. Other users (and the share card system) link to it. Open yours from your Dashboard by clicking your name or avatar.

On any of your profile, dashboard, or tier-up screens, look for a "Share" button. It opens a share-builder with a branded card showing your avatar, tier, top badges, and a QR code. One-tap to Facebook, X (Twitter), WhatsApp, Telegram, or LinkedIn. For Instagram and RedNote, you can download the image and paste a caption.

The Gallery is a showcase of approved cleanup photos from across the platform. Admins curate it after each cleanup to celebrate standout submissions. Browse the Gallery to see what others are collecting, get inspired, and (if you're logged in) upload your own photos for review.

New accounts require admin approval to prevent spam. This usually takes 24-48 hours. You'll receive an email once approved. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.

Find your unique referral code on your Dashboard. Share it with friends! When they register using your code and complete their first cleanup, you earn +50 XP bonus.

Experienced users can become mentors to help newcomers. Mentors guide new members through their first cleanups and earn special mentor badges. Apply on the Mentorship page.

You can report plastics, glass, metal, paper, electronics, organic waste, and hazardous materials. Each category helps track environmental impact. Check the Categories page for the full list.

Every cleanup earns carbon credits based on the waste collected and recycled. These credits track your environmental impact. View your credits on your profile page.

You can upload up to 5 photos per cleanup submission. Use multiple photos to show different angles, the full scope of the area, before/after shots, and any special items. Multi-photo submissions help admins approve your cleanup faster.

Click the help button at the bottom right on any page, or use the Report a Problem page.

No. Badge icons are set by the platform admins and are the same for everyone who earns that badge. You can't customize the look of badges you've earned, but you can see all badges (earned and locked) plus their criteria on your profile.
